The theme that I have chosen to develop is the use of simple lines to create dynamic art pieces. Lines are often seen as a two-dimensional figure with no further usage. That is what gave me the idea for this theme. Since lines are only two-dimensional, I wanted to see if there was a way to morph them into the three-dimensional portraits. I could have just simply drawn the typical geometric cube, but I wanted to take a different approach and repeat each line with each new one have its own unique characteristics as the following line is never an exact copy. Line work has really caught my attention and I plan to explore many different aspects behind it. Most of my pieces are simply black and white as I use a sharpie pen to create the pieces; although, I do plan on furthering the color behind the pieces to create more dimension with the lines.
